The Concrete Supply Story

Concrete Supply was formed in 1958 through the merger of three ready-mix companies with a total of four plants, all located in Charlotte, NC. From that humble beginning, Concrete Supply now operates thirty plus plants in the two Carolinas.

In 1999, company management came to the conclusion that in order to successfully compete in a rapidly changing environment, Concrete Supply must expand outside the Metrolina area. To accomplish this, over the last eight years Concrete Supply has acquired ownership or majority interest in several companies...

Today, Concrete Supply and its subsidiaries operate 35 concrete plants and more than 340 mixer trucks, employ more than 500 dedicated employees, and produce nearly two million cubic yards of concrete annually.

We have supplied ready mix products for many signature projects , including the McGuire Nuclear Station, Bank of America Stadium (home of the Carolina Panthers), the 60-story Bank of America Corporate Center, the 46-story Hearst Tower, and also the new 42-story Duke Energy Center, opening this year.

Yet, size and high-profile projects have never been the true measure of the greatness of our company. Instead, we place much more importance on integrity and excellence in all that we undertake. Firm adherence to our Mission and Values , along with dedication to Safety, Quality, and Service...has led to the success we enjoy today, and the reputation we hope to maintain in the future.
