The newest addition to Charlotte's skyline is the 52-story Duke Energy Center.
The center is a mixed-use project, and will include a 42-story condominium tower, art museums, and a 1200-seat performing arts theater. The two two towers, along with a nine-story building annex, sit atop an eight-story parking structure that extends 95 feet below street level.
Duke Energy will be the chief tenant, taking the slot that was formerly designated for Wachovia Bank. The Wake Forest University Babcock Graduate School of Management will also occupy a portion of the building.
